I have known Mrs. Elliott for many years. My most recent experience began after I had experienced an educational disaster with my then seven year old son. He was educationally advanced but I did not want him promoted for emotional/social reasons. He was bored to death waiting for the other children in his class, and was socially outcast because he was smart. The teachers struggled to keep him challenged, while balancing the needs of the other students.
Mrs. Elliott provided several answers to my dilemma. First, she serviced each child at his or her own level, providing each child with his or her own lesson plans. No longer was one child s ability limited by another. Additionally, because of the small one room school-house concept, my child indirectly benefitted by the lessons being taught to the older children. I specifically recall an instance when Mrs. Elliott was teaching the fifth graders social studies. Upon asking a question, out from the corner came the answer--from my then second grader. He had been hearing and learning the older children s lessons.
My son is now 11 and technically in sixth grade, although he has completed all sixth grade courses. Many of his subjects are at the high school level. Mrs. Elliott keeps him challenged, pushing him to his highest potential at every turn...
The TreeHouse School has been a God-send for us and our son. I...enthusiastically support Mrs. Elliott in all her endeavors.

I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful work Mrs. Elliott has done with my children, ages 3 and 11. The TreeHouse School teaches children that they are smart, able to learn anything, and to apply themselves so they can shape a successful future.
The TreeHouse School has provided a safe atmosphere from drugs, thugs, violence, and discrimination. Mrs. Elliott has made the difference, and is the blazing force driving my children towards excellence. Mrs. Elliott s presence has impacted my children's lives in such a positive manner that words can never totally describe the effect, but I can say that sending my children to The TreeHouse School was the best investment I have ever made.

Mrs. Elliott is one of the most gifted teachers I have had the pleasure to associate with. Her presence in our school system will be sorely missed, and the door remains ajar for her to return at any time.
