Because each student will be taught according to their individual needs and learning styles, the curriculum may include, but will not be limited to, the following: A Beka Book, Bob Jones University Press, Home Study International, McGraw Hill Childrens Publishing, Review and Herald Publishing, Alpha Omega, Advantage Publishing Group, etc. Each student enrolled will be carefully assessed and placed at a point where they can begin successful completion of academic work.
School Objectives
The staff of The TreeHouse School will give each child the opportunity to be academically prepared by:
1. Providing and maintaining a varied educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, which is conducive to optimum learning.
2. Providing an innovative curriculum that develops the whole child.
3. Properly assessing each child s aptitude and designing an individualized curriculum, which is aptitude specific, and developmentally appropriate for each child.
4. Providing necessary stimulus, consistent encouragement, and positive motivational techniques to keep each child actively participating in the learning process.
5. Evaluating each child frequently to assure continued academic progress which supercedes national and state standards of learning.
6. Providing each child with sufficient time and opportunity to master each academic concept according to each child s individual ability.
